Alfred Sim is a highly sought after performer for his versatility – his ability to silence the dinner with his artistry has been witnessed at every performance.

 

He emerged Overall Champion for Channel U’s Project Superstar 2014, and is now a Mediacorp artiste. Earlier in 2015, he proved his prowess again by winning the Singapore’s leg of  The Voice of China qualifying, and will be the Singapore representative to take part in The Voice of China 2015.

 

He was picked as the singer for Mediacorp Channel 8’s blockbuster drama “唐山到南洋” ‘s theme song 家乡, which was wildly popular with the audience, who all thought it was sung by Jacky Cheung! It was awarded Best Drama Theme Song at Asian Television Awards 2014.

 

Alfred released his debut eponymous album in January 2016 to much positive feedback from the media and a packed showcase at his listening party, and is set to promote his original music further in the region.

 He croons Michael Buble ballads with​ impeccable style, and a surefire wow​ factor is his signature husky Louis​ Armstrong impersonation of “What​ A Wonderful World”, which always​ draws attention and cheers from​ audiences.

 

​Beneath his cool, collected​ demeanour lies a rockstar who has​ brought the house down with Guns N​ Roses’ “Sweet Child of Mine” and​ Aerosmith‘s “I Don’t Wanna Miss A​Thing”. His talent to impersonate​ singers across genres always​ delights – he can mesmerize​ with an Andy Lau classic​ <你是我的女人>, or​ Jacky Chuengs​ Cantonese classic​ <你的名字我的姓氏>.
